Step 3: Generate Tags & Descriptions
Enter an optional business name for context-specific tags. GeoImageTagger uses AI to generate relevant descriptions, keywords, and EXIF-ready metadata for each image.
Step 4: Review & Edit
Review AI-generated tags and descriptions on a per-image basis. Edit anything before processing — tags, descriptions, coordinates — all fields are editable.
Step 5: Process & Download
Click "Analyze & Tag" to write EXIF metadata into your images. Download tagged images individually, as a ZIP bundle with JSON metadata, or export a CSV summary.

You can upload and preview images without signing in. To process images ("Analyze & Tag"), you need a free account. Free accounts include 5 images per day.
What image formats are supported?
GeoImageTagger supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, WebP, and HEIC. The tool preserves the original format when possible and converts only when necessary.
How accurate is the AI location detection?
Accuracy depends on visible landmarks, text, signage, or distinctive features in your images. If the AI cannot detect a location, you can set it manually using the search bar, coordinates, or map.
What metadata is added to my images?
GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude), AI-generated descriptions, keyword tags, and standard EXIF fields are embedded directly into each image file.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All connections use HTTPS. Uploaded images are stored securely for processing and may be retained temporarily for account-related workflows. We do not share your images with third parties. Your email is used only for authentication and account management.
Can I process multiple images at once?
Yes. Free plan users can upload up to 2 images per run, and Pro plan users can upload up to 5 images per run. Each image is processed individually with its own tags and location data.
