Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. We use Supabase for secure authentication.
Image Data: When you upload images for processing, they are temporarily stored on our servers for AI analysis and metadata writing. Images are processed using Google Gemini AI for location detection and tag generation.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views, feature usage counts, and processing quotas to improve the service.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to the Pro plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

To provide and maintain the GeoImageTagger service, including AI-powered image analysis, GPS coordinate embedding, and metadata writing.
To manage your account, track usage quotas, and process subscription payments.
To improve the service based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data or images with third parties for marketing purposes.

Google Gemini AI: Used for image analysis, location detection, and tag/description generation. Images are sent to Google's API for processing.
Geoapify: Used for geocoding and location autocomplete. Only location queries are shared, not images.
Supabase: Used for authentication and database services. Your account data is stored securely in Supabase.
Stripe: Used for payment processing. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
Standalone tools (Metadata Viewer, Image Compressor, Image Converter) process images entirely in your browser — no server upload occurs for these tools.

All connections to GeoImageTagger use HTTPS encryption.
Authentication is handled through secure, industry-standard protocols via Supabase.
Payment data is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing and are not retained indefinitely.
You can delete your account at any time, which will remove your personal data from our systems.
Processed images and metadata exports are your property. Once downloaded, we do not retain copies.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management.
We store your theme preference (dark/light mode) in local storage.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Basic analytics may be collected to understand usage patterns and improve the service.
