You can upload and preview images without an account. To process images ("Analyze & Tag") and download results, you need a free account. Sign up takes seconds — no credit card required.
GeoImageTagger supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, WebP, and HEIC. The tool preserves the original format when possible and converts only when necessary for metadata embedding.
Accuracy depends on visible landmarks, text, signage, architecture, or other distinctive features in your images. If the AI cannot detect a location, you can set it manually using the search bar (with autocomplete), by typing coordinates, or by clicking the map.
GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude), AI-generated descriptions, keyword tags, and standard EXIF fields are embedded directly into each image file using ExifTool.
Yes. Every field is fully editable before processing. You can add, remove, or rewrite tags and descriptions on a per-image basis.
Yes. Free plan users can upload up to 2 images per run, and Pro plan users can upload up to 5. Each image is processed individually with its own tags, description, and location data.
Download tagged images individually, as a ZIP file with all images plus JSON metadata, or as a CSV file with a summary of all metadata fields (filenames, coordinates, tags, descriptions).
The Free plan gives you 5 images per day with all core features: AI tagging, AI location detection, EXIF writing, map tools, and all download formats. No credit card required.
Pro increases your processing quota to 1,000 images per month and allows up to 5 images per upload run. All features are the same on both plans. Pro costs $10/month and can be cancelled anytime.
Yes. Pro subscriptions can be cancelled from your Dashboard at any time. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Yes. All connections use HTTPS. Uploaded images are stored securely for processing and account-related workflows. We do not share your images with third parties. Your email is used only for authentication and account management.
Uploaded images may be retained temporarily for processing and account records. Staging files used during processing are cleaned up automatically after a short retention period.
