How GeoImageTagger Works
From upload to download in five steps. No software to install — everything runs in your browser.
Step 1: Upload Your Images
Select images from your device. GeoImageTagger supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, and HEIC formats. Choose between AI Mode (automatic) or Manual Mode (full control).
- Free plan: up to 2 images per upload
- Pro plan: up to 10 images per upload
- Drag and drop or click to browse
- AI Mode for automatic tagging, Manual Mode for custom input
Step 2: Set or Detect Location
The AI analyzes your images and attempts to detect the location from visible landmarks, text, and scenery. You can also:
- Search by city, address, or landmark (with autocomplete)
- Click directly on the interactive map
- Type exact latitude and longitude coordinates
Step 3: Generate Tags & Descriptions
GeoImageTagger uses AI to create relevant keyword tags and a natural-language description for each image. Supports multiple languages including English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, and more.
- Optionally enter a business name for context-specific tags
- Switch language for AI-generated content at any time
- In Manual Mode, write your own tags and descriptions
Step 4: Review & Edit
Every field is editable before processing. Review and adjust:
- Tags (add, remove, or rewrite)
- Descriptions (per-image editing)
- Location coordinates and map pin
Step 5: Process & Download
Click "Analyze & Tag" to write EXIF metadata into your images. Then download your results:
- Individual tagged images with EXIF data
- ZIP archive with all images + JSON metadata
- CSV summary for spreadsheets and records
